Perspective

TIP: DON’T “TIP” USING REAL LIFE ADVICE.

THE CONSUMERIST blog gives some horrifying stories about some of humanity’s shining moments in the restaurant industry.

Take, for example, the episode of the Capitol Hill waitress who received a tip (in the literal sense) of “Loose [sic] a few pounds“.

And waitresses have it easy?

GUNS DON’T KILL PEOPLE. HUNGRY PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE.

In another glorious demonstration of human dignity, a man pulled a shotgun on a Taco Bell employee who neglected to give him the hot sauce he had specifically requested. Shame on you, Taco Bell man. I bet YOU’VE learned your lesson.

TIP: WAIT YOUR TURN.

Police used a stun gun on a woman who cut the line at a McDonald’s in North Carolina. Patience is a virtue– and tasers WILL hurt you.
